At Made in Long Island City, we carefully handcraft each leather good to order. Please review our shipping information below to understand our process and delivery timelines.
Processing Time
Ready-to-Ship Items: Orders for in-stock items are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days.
Made-to-Order Items: Custom and made-to-order pieces require 2-4 weeks for production before shipping. We'll provide an estimated completion date when you place your order.
Custom Projects: Fully custom designs may require additional time. We'll discuss timelines during your consultation.
Shipping Methods & Rates
We offer several shipping options to meet your needs:
Domestic Shipping (United States)
- Standard Shipping (5-7 business days): $8.00
- Expedited Shipping (2-3 business days): $15.00
- Express Shipping (1-2 business days): $25.00
- Free Standard Shipping: On orders over $150
Local Pickup (Long Island City, NY)
Free local pickup is available at our Long Island City studio by appointment. We'll send you pickup instructions and schedule a time after your order is ready.
International Shipping
We ship internationally! Rates vary by destination and are calculated at checkout. International orders typically arrive within 7-14 business days, depending on customs processing.
Note: International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can track your package through the carrier's website or in your order confirmation email.
Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states and most international destinations. If you have questions about shipping to your location, please contact us before placing your order.
Packaging
All items are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. We use protective materials and branded packaging to make your unboxing experience special.

Address Changes
If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, we cannot modify the delivery address.
